Share your opinion about Europe and the Faroese Islands
The daily news extensively cover many international and European topics to support people to develop their personal opinion. However, only rarely addressed is the question in which way the population of the Faroese Islands is connected with Europe. The following poll aims to gather data on this issue and we are looking forward to learning about your opinion. Norðlýsið and the PhD student and Higher Education teacher Roland Brandtjen encourage you to take part in the online survey:

The completion of the survey will take around 10-15 minutes. You can stop at any point and restart the questionnaire later. This poll is available until the 31.10.2015.
The survey is anonymous and it is not required at any point that you provide your name and contact details. All answers will be stored for evaluation only and all data will be dealt with according to the data protection act and we will not use any of the data for purposes other than this academic survey.
The results will later be published by Norðlýsið.
The main purpose of the data collection is a contribution to the PhD thesis in European Studies of Roland Brandtjen at the RWTH Aachen University. This survey will gather quantitative data for the thesis, complemented by subsequent interviews with policy makers. The main purpose is to check whether the policy makers of the Faroese Islands got the same ideas and concepts as the Faroese population does.
